New Canaan School Superintendent Dr. Bryan Luizzi will update the New Canaan Men’s Club Friday, May 31, about the programs and the educational achievements in the town’s schools, regularly ranked among the best in the state and the nation.
In its review of school systems across the nation, Niche Rankings recently placed the New Canaan School System in the top 50, with A-plus grades in academics, teacher quality, its college preparatory standards and for administration. Niche counts 12,292 school systems across the country.
The Men’s Club meeting will begin at 10 a.m. in Morrill Hall at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 111 Oenoke Ridge. Dr. Luizzi’s remarks are expected to begin around 10:40 a.m., following the business portion of the meeting.
The New Canaan public school population stands at 4,175, with the school system regularly cited by newcomers as a key draw for moving into town.
