New Canaan Library is pleased to welcome the 2025 Conversations with Business Leaders speaker, Emilie Rubinfeld, Global President of New York-based luxury fashion house Carolina Herrera.
In conversation with Bob Mitchell, co-CEO of Mitchells Stores, Rubinfeld will relate insights from helming one of fashion’s most important legacy houses, and also informally share looks from the current collection on stage. During her tenure, she has successfully steered the transition between founder Carolina Herrera and current Creative Director Wes Gordon, while also building global brand awareness, growing new product categories, and thoughtfully advancing the company’s social and sustainability efforts. A New Canaan native, Rubinfeld will speak with Mitchell about the lessons and qualities that helped her rise to the top. Mitchell has himself overseen the evolution from local family to national business, offering best-in-class customer service and luxury brands.
