Encore, a social club for women, kicks off its 2015-2016 program year with a New and Prospective Member Coffee on Oct. 5, at 9:30a.m. at the home of Jean Moore in New Canaan. The club sponsors various social, educational and cultural activities for its members. Activities include luncheons and evening events as well as trips to visit historical sites and Broadway shows. There are also regularly scheduled gatherings that address a broad range of interests such as book group, hiking, tennis, golf, movie review and bridge.
