This autumn, “Fall Into New Canaan” with the Young Women’s League and the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce! On Saturday, September 9th, gather with your neighbors to shop locally and support our merchants. At participating stores, 15% of proceeds from the event will support Meals on Wheels New Canaan and the YWL Giving Fund. Children can participate in a Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt and families, businesses and other organizations can purchase kits to participate in New Canaan’s first annual Scarecrow Decorating Contest. Scarecrows will hang from the lamp posts in town in October. Family friendly activities will take place all day in the Pop Up Park. For more information, visit ywlnewcanaan.org.
