As part of the New Canaan Museum and Historical Society’s October4Design programing, the Waveny Park Conservancy will host a walking tour of the grounds around the main house of Waveny Park. WPC board member Arianne Kolb will provide a history of Waveny and the Lapham family as well as an overview of the Olmsted Brothers’ landscape design, the fountain sculpture by the renowned early 20th-century sculptor Abastenia St. Leger Eberle, and the recent installation of iPhone sculptures by Paul Kopkau.
