New Canaan Land Trust Labyrinth: Talk and Walk on Eve of Summer Solstice
Saturday, June, 19, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

On the eve of the summer solstice, New Canaan Land Trust invites you to join artist and professor Christopher Kaczmarek to visit the Labyrinth at Watson-Symington Preserve. The Labyrinth is a seven-circuit classic labyrinth 60-foot in diameter, created by Kaczmarek for the New Canaan Sculpture Trail 2020. Kaczmarek will offer an informal talk about the history of seven-circuit labyrinths and the making of the New Canaan Labyrinth from local stones gathered at the preserve. The outdoor talk will be followed by a meditative walk through the labyrinth.
