Richie Kotzen
Wednesday, April, 18, 2018 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The guitar virtuoso from Poison, Mr. Big & The Winery Dogs, Richie Kotzen is back with his vibrant new solo album, Salting Earth. “It’s something I really needed to do to reset myself,” Kotzen explains. Richie Kotzen’s “charge to recharge” was officially put into play following the mega-success of The Winery Dogs (featuring Mike Portnoy & Billy Sheehan) 2015–16 tour. He took one step back to take two steps forward to refuel the creative process for ten hard-hitting new songs in Salting Earth. The new album veers from the heads-up declaration of the opening track “End of Earth” to the burning-sky harmonic thrust of “Thunder” to the Prince-like funk-jazz swing of “This Is Life” to the acoustic take-me-as-I-am self-reflection of the album’s final song, “Grammy.”
Kotzen is clearly eager to begin touring: “With the new record being done and knowing dates are being booked around the world, I can feel my creative energy surging once again.”
