Come join Encore Club of New Canaan as we view the exhibition of the Silvermine Art Colony (1908 – 1922). On display at the New Canaan Museum & Historical Society are 120 pieces divided into sculpture and paintings. Sculptures by Solon Borglum, a founder of the colony, and paintings, drawings, and pastels and prints by 22 additional artists represent diverse styles and techniques of the colony’s members.
