New Canaan Library’s Summer Reading Club Kickoff

3:30 PM in the Adrian Lamb Room

Presented by Musician Jay Mankita who will play the time traveler leading songs with his guitar, keyboard, foot-percussion and sound effects from his amazing time travel machine. Children will help with reading lines, change scenery, and operate the costumed wizard, pirate, dinosaur and caveman figures. The program will feature serious themes of ecology, sustainability, community and character. After the show children may sign up for the 2014 Summer Reading Club “Fizz Boom Read.”
