Bring your brown bag lunch, snack or soup and learn from film maker and frequent Museum presenter, Jake Gorst, who will talk about his grandfather, Andrew Geller. Geller was an American architect, painter and graphic designer and was credited for bringing modernism to the masses. He is probably best known for creating the houses that were built through kits that were sold at Macy's. Those homes became the feature of Gorst's film, Leisurama.

The Emmy award winning film, “The Hidden History of Slavery in New York”, explores the largely untold story of the transatlantic slave trade in New York City, and includes an interview with Bryan Stevenson, founder and executive director of the Equal Justice Initiative.
