Rose Ann (Paternostro) Carlino, 91, of New Canaan, CT passed away at her residence on October 8, 2020. She was predeceased by Nick Carlino, her loving husband of 45 years.

Rose was born on April 28, 1929 to the late Charles and Rose (Fermature) Paternostro.
Rose was employed as a telephone switchboard operator for over 40 years. She enjoyed travelling, arts and crafts and especially spending time with her family.
Rose was a dear sister to the late Josephine Sposato, Bernadette Buddington, Frank Paternostro and Mary Maher. Rose is survived by her brother-in law, James Maher, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main St, New Canaan, CT on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 9:00-10:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Rose’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at St. Aloysius Church, New Canaan, CT at 10:30am. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rose’s memory can be made to St. Aloysius Church, New Canaan, CT.
