For New Canaanites hanging around town for George Washington’s birthday—recognized each year on the third Monday in February, though our first President was in fact born Feb. 22—here’s a list of what’s open and closed in town. New Canaan YMCA: Open regular hours, though classes will not be held
New Canaan Library: Closed
DMV: Closed on Mondays—also closed Saturday Feb.
