Police on Sunday arrested a 24-year-old New Canaan woman by warrant in connection with a pre-dawn crash the day before Thanksgiving.

At about 1:41 a.m. on Nov. 23, officers responded to a report of a single-car crash in the area of Oenoke Ridge and Lambert Roads, police said.

Investigators secured search and arrest warrants for the Ramhorne Road woman, according to a police report.

Her blood alcohol content was found to be .19, the report said—nearly 2.5 times the legal limit.

She was charged with driving under the influence and cited for failure to drive in the proper lane.

The woman turned herself in to police at 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 5.

She was released on $2,500 bond and scheduled to appear Nov. 16 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
