Richmond Hill Road Man Arrested After Punching Walls During Argument

A 29-year-old Richmond Hill Road man was arrested on a misdemeanor charge late Saturday following a report that he started punching walls during an argument.

According to a police report, the man around 9:16 p.m. began arguing with another individual in the home about going out for the night. The man wanted to go out but the other person didn’t, the report said.

The man punched walls and also broke a flat-screen TV in the home, according to the report.

He was charged with disorderly conduct and scheduled to appear Monday in state Superior Court in Norwalk.

Police on Aug. 21 arrested a 46-year-old Norwalk woman by warrant and charged her with second-degree failure to appear.

She missed a court date in connection with a ticket received Dec. 1 for distracted driving and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, according toa police report.

The woman was released on $500 bond and scheduled to appear Sept. 10 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.

Police arrested a 23-year-old Baker, La. man at 1:33 p.m. on Aug. 18 and cited him for violating the town’s ordinance against soliciting without a permit.

Officers found the man selling magazines door-to-door for a company called ‘Self Starters’ following a complaint in the area of Harrison Avenue, according to a police report.

Police say it’s a common occurrence in the summer months.
