A 43-year-old Carter Street man was arrested and charged with second degree threatening and and second degree harassment on Wednesday, Aug. 10, in connection with a domestic incident that occurred in New Canaan on Aug. 1.
New Canaan Police and Norwalk Police responded to a report of a domestic incident on Tuesday, Aug. 9. A police report does not state where the incident took place, only that the suspect was arrested at about 2:45 a.m. on Aug. 10 in Norwalk.
Following the man’s arrest, officers learned that he had an active PRAWN warrant out of Waterbury in connection with a previous arrest for unknown charges.
Because the incidents are domestic in nature, police said there would be no further information provided. The man was held in lieu of a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 11.
