Red, White and Worn-Celebrating the Threads of American History

Free – $10Join us on May 14 at 5:30 pm for the opening of the latest clothing and textile exhibition – and a celebration of America’s 250th! Drawing from the Museum’s permanent collection, the exhibition features pieces that highlight how major events in American history shaped fashion. Both adult and children’s clothing, military uniforms, accessories, and even an early American flag are all on display. The exhibit is curated by Charlotte Ellis. “Inside the Exhibition,” a brochure featuring additional information about the exhibit and what went into its installation will be available for purchase for $5. The exhibit will continue until August 8th.
