A 42-year-old Stamford woman was arrested by warrant Thursday following an investigation into an accident on Frogtown Road in November that caused property damage.

At about 7:50 a.m. on Nov. 20, police were dispatched to the 100 block of Jelliff Mill Road on a report of a stone wall being struck and damaged by a motor vehicle overnight, according to a police report.

Based on witness statements and parts left at the scene, police obtained an arrest warrant for the Stamford woman, the report said.

She turned herself in at about 3:45 p.m. on Jan. 21 on charges of conspiracy to commit failure to drive in the proper lane, conspiracy to commit operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked license and conspiracy to commit evading responsibility. Police released her on $2,500 bond and scheuled her to appear Feb. 3 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.

Residents of Frogtown recently have called for traffic calming near the Weed Street side. A two-car accident closed the road in that area on Monday night.
