Tara Blackwell and Cal Bocicault will be discussing their current exhibition “American Iconography”, which will be featured at The Norwalk Art Space through January 20, 2022. Tara uses nostalgic cartoons and light-hearted imagery from her youth to grab viewers’ attention, and Cal creates highly-stylized portraits capturing modern black identity, but the work of both artists is grounded in social justice, equality and feminism.
