Anna Loreta Recchia, 87, of New Canaan, CT passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 after a prolonged illness. Anna was born in Settefrati, Italy to Giuseppe Socci and Angelina Pia. She and her loving husband of 64 years, Alessandro “Alex” Recchia immigrated to the U.S. in 1965 to New Canaan with their four young children. Here they formed a true family legacy based on traditional values, strength and love. Anna was the backbone of the family, a true role model for anyone who crossed her path.
