Police on Thursday afternoon arrested a 32-year-old Westport woman by warrant and charged her with driving under the influence.
The warrant stemmed from an Aug. 22 crash that had occurred around 5 p.m. on Silvermine Road in the area of Fable Farm Road, according to a police report.
An investigation showed that the woman’s blood-alcohol level was at .37—nearly five times the legal limit of .08, the report said.
She additionally was cited for failure to drive right and distracted driving.
Police released the woman on $250 bond and scheduled her to appear Dec. 9 in state Superior Court.
