In 1954, Fulgenzio married his beloved Annunziata and together they began their life in Toronto, Canada, where he worked paving roads. In 1959, they moved to Stamford, Connecticut, where Fulgenzio began a long career with Conde Nast and Pitney Bowes. One of the family’s most cherished memories is the purchase of “The Farm,” a beloved getaway and hunting cabin that became a gathering place for countless joyful moments shared with family and friends. He and Annunziata also spent their summers in Settefrati, Italy, continuing their connection to the land and their roots.

Fulgenzio’s life was characterized by his love for his family and his deep bond with nature. A hardworking man of the earth, he took great pride in making homemade wine, sausages, and prosciutto, and tending to his vast garden. In his later years, after moving to New Canaan, CT, Fulgenzio expanded his gardening passion and cared for chickens, rabbits, and goats. His hands were never idle; he was a dedicated helper to his son Phil’s business ventures and landscaping work, always ready to lend a hand.
