The 37th annual Four on the Fourth, New Canaan’s oldest and largest road race, will kick of the Independence Day holiday at 8 a.m. Thursday from St. Mark’s Church. Some 300 runners are expected to cover the out-and-back course on Oenoke and West Roads – drivers should expect delays and seek alternate routes and/or adjust their schedule.
Pre-race registration and check in will be held at New Balance New Canaan through 3 p.m. Wednesday. Race day registration begins at 7 a.m. Online pre-entry is also available at www.ClubCT.org
