Ted Aldrich will speak at the New Canaan Men’s Club March 4 meeting about his soon to be released book “The Partnership: George Marshall, Henry Stimson, and the Extraordinary Collaboration that won World War II”. Aldrich, a career long banker with a passion for history, decided to use the endless hours on Metro North commuting to Manhattan to write a book about the remarkable joint achievement of a Wall Street lawyer and an Army lifer during World War II. Prerelease reviews have praised the work saying “a joint biography of Stimson and Marshall, two pillars of the American Century, is a valuable addition to history. The NCMC has resumed in person meetings on Fridays at 10 AM at Morrill Hall at St, Mark’s Church in New Canaan.
