Pastor Eric Fjeldal of the the United Methodist Church of New Canaan, will lead a 9 week book study based on Searching for Happiness by Martin Thielen. As the author states, “…happiness is not the ultimate goal of Christianity…but the quest for authentic contentment – which every heart longs for and every person seeks – leads us to significant Christian themes, including relationships, generosity, forgiveness, gratitude and faith.” Due to great interest, two sessions of the study group will be held each Wednesday, beginning October 12.
