Public celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Bristow Park – New Canaan’a Bird Sanctuary and Wildwood Preserve. Public address by Town Officials, Keynote talk by noted bird authority David Sibley, Woodwind quintet performs compositions by Gwyneth Walker, dedication of St Francis statue, bird releases and more. Bristow just underwent a 5-year $750,000 restoration supported by the Town Parks Department and the Friends of Bristow Park. New Canaan Land Trust will host the event.
