How Breathing Heals

Have you ever wondered if there are different ways to breathe? Do you know if you breathe well? Our bodies hold on to everything we choose to breathe in. But the more we get to know how our bodies breathe and how our bodies function, the more capable we become at making choices about what we breathe in and how we hold on to our experiences. Your breath is a reliable reminder, and your most intimate ally, to investigate how best to heal your body and mind.

Join us for a conversation with Voice and Movement Coach, Betsy Allen, who is trained in Fitzmaurice Voicework®, is a long-time coach for actors and singers, and a certified yoga and pilates teacher, as she helps us better understand how we hold onto things and how we can use our breathing to get ourselves to neutral. Through fun investigation of how you hold onto tension, Betsy will show you how to navigate finding your reset button. Once you begin this groundbreaking, restorative work, you will immediately find the simple pleasure and solace of being/living in a happy body!
