May Fair

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church will hold the 70th annual May Fair, kicking off with “Friday Night Lights” on Friday, May 11 from 5PM-10PM, and on Saturday, May 12 from 9AM-6PM, rain or shine. “Friday Night Lights” will serve as a prelude to the main event on Saturday and will hold a special appeal for young adults and children, offering all of the carnival rides, music, and special food concessions. Some outdoor tents will also be open for the tag sale. St. Mark’s will sell an “unlimited rides” wristband for $30 exclusively for “Friday Night Lights” attendees. On Saturday, May 11, May Fair will run from 9AM-6PM with its full array of rides, games, entertainment, and White Elephant and book sales. The enormous May Fair White Elephant Tag Sale (Saturday only, 9AM-4PM) features thousands of items for sale including jewelry, furniture, rugs, china, crystal, art, collectibles, lamps, kitchenware, linens, toys, games, sporting goods, and lawn furniture. Delicious foods will be available for purchase including smoked brisket, pulled pork, grilled chicken, corn on the cob, hotdogs and hamburgers, pizza, ice cream, and many other treats including May Fair’s famous strawberry shortcake. The Food Court will be open from 10:30AM-5PM, or until supplies run out. By attending May Fair, the public supports outreach and mission from St. Mark’s, including financial grants and in-kind support to charitable organizations locally, nationally, and internationally.
