Men’s Club To Hear About U.S.-China Relations

The New Canaan Men’s Club will learn the history and possible future of American relations with the People’s Republic of China in a talk by Robert Grieves at its meeting Friday at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 111 Oenoke Ridge.
The meeting, to be held in Morrill Hall, will begin at 10 a.m. with Grieves’ remarks scheduled to follow the business portion of the session at 10:40 a.m.
Robert Grieves is the co-founder and chairman of Hamilton Advisors Limited, an international strategic communications consultancy based in Hong Kong, serving clients in Greater China and Asia. His first career was as a journalist for Time in New York, then for The Times of London and The Economist, both in Beijing. Grieves currently also serves as chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
He holds a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University, and a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and East Asian Studies from Hamilton College.
