Our Water Supply –
Thursday, May, 6, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
FreeWe are fortunate Connecticut’s water supply is monitored closely for drinking quality and adequate quantity. However, recent drought conditions remind us of the need to be mindful of how we use this natural resource. Jeff Ulrich, Aquarion Water Company’s Vice President of Supply & Sustainability, will present information about where your water comes from, New Canaan’s water usage patterns, and the mandatory twice-weekly irrigation schedule that is in effect for southwest Fairfield County. There will be time for audience questions at the end of this live lecture.
Jeff Ulrich has worked in the water industry for over 30 years. As Aquarion Water Company’s Vice President of Supply and Sustainability, he oversees 85 people that produce drinking water for over 625,000 people in Connecticut. He has the unique perspective of having worked for a water company, consulting engineer, and contractor.
