Ayurveda is a comprehensive system of healthcare that has been practiced in India for over five thousand years; it is thought to be the world’s oldest healing system. Ayurveda, in Sanskrit, means “science of life,” and epitomizes a true body-mind approach to health and wellness.
Dr. Kaushik will discuss how the balance of body, mind, and spirit affect health, and how, when imbalance occurs, ones outlook and approach to life suffers. With Ayurveda, one works to determine the “root cause” of the illness and the reason for the imbalance, with the aim of re-establishing balance and consequently an outlook in sync with life and the environment.
