Race, Wealth, and Economic Inequality in America
Tuesday, September, 29, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Social justice issues have been front and center in today’s political climate. Inequality – in particular, economic inequality—is at the heart of this social justice agenda, as it was during the civil rights movements of the mid-20th century.
“The Start of Change: Addressing Racism,” a collaborative series from New Canaan Library, New Canaan Museum & Historical Society, New Canaan Community Foundation, and the Interfaith Council, continues with session three on September 29 at 7 PM. Professor Justene Hill Edwards will present “Race, Wealth, and Economic Inequality in America” via Zoom videoconference. Please register for each session individually at newcanaanlibrary.org. Zoom sign in information will be provided upon registration.
