The Prince is giving a ball! Saxe Middle School presents the spring 7th/8th grade musical, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s CINDERELLA on Friday, March 31st at 7:00 pm and Saturday, April 1st at 2:00 pm. at the New Canaan High School auditorium.

Director and choreographer Lauren Nicole Sherwood promises elements of magic and surprise, with fairy dust, a glittering pumpkin and white mice who turn into horses. You’ll be treated to a lovely ballroom scene, funny moments and familiar songs by Tony Award winning Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II.

The cast is 56 strong. Another 21 students make up the stage crew, under the direction of Anthony Medaglia, and the pit orchestra, under the direction of Janet Rosen. Sarah Gleason and Joe Gergle are musical directors, and Matt Blank is stage manager and assistant director.
