Hear from Two New Canaan Sculpture Trail Artists: Artist Talk & Walk & Reception

As the 2022 New Canaan Sculpture Trail draws to a close, join us for an artist talk at the New Canaan Historical Society. New York based duo Sandra Gibson + Luis Recoder will give an artist talk on their twenty-year collaborative practice working in the field of expanded cinema. The presentation will culminate in their most recent public art installation Threading Diagram currently on view as part of the 2022 Sculpture Trail.

Following the presentation, join us for a walk to see their outdoor artwork in the nearby preserve (approximately .7 miles round trip) and then, enjoy a reception back at the museum. (In case of rain, we will skip the walk). Free…Register so we know you plan on attending.
