In today’s world, it is no longer enough to just stand by and witness injustice and not do anything about it. In this interactive workshop, participants will learn how to safely intervene when they see or hear something problematic. Our presenters will introduce a number of different intervention strategies, and then have participants practice by using scenarios that will range from how to safely intervene when someone makes a racist joke or a controversial statement about domestic violence, to how to help a victim of domestic violence. Attendees will leave this training with not only the tools to intervene, but also the confidence to do so.
