Headed by Faith Kerchoff, who creates the designs, a group of about 18 people meet once a week during the year to paint these one-of-a-kind ornaments. They will debut on Sun. Oct. 25 at Gores Pavilion in Irwin Park, with a reception from 3 to 5 p.m.

The “Landmark Tree Collection” at the New Canaan Historical Society. All sales benefit the Historical Society.
On display that day will be a collection of over 100 past New Canaan ornaments, and people can enter a drawing to win a free set of this year’s ornaments. The ornaments are priced at $15 each or five for $70.
After Sunday, the ornaments±—which are sold on a limited first-come, first-served basis—will be for sale at the New Canaan Historical Society. Those interested can also visit the Historical Society’s website to see them online.
