December 17 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
FreeThe New England Academy of Dance (NEAD) brings the holiday magic of The Nutcracker ballet to New Canaan Library, showcasing dancers from NEAD as well as esteemed professionals from New York City. Under the direction of Frances Ortiz, Ginna Ortiz, and Ted Thomas, NEAD will present an educational, family-friendly performance of The Nutcracker. Other characters from The Nutcracker will join and help with the interactive portion, where children can learn a dance from the ballet. The demonstration is ideal for children ages five through ten, but all are welcome.
