[Note: The mention of transmitting contagious illnesses in this article does not mean that Noell actually has those illnesses.]
New Canaan Police on Aug. 21 arrested a local woman by warrant after she spit and hurled expletives at an officer during processing for a separate domestic incident in June, court records show.

Brooke Noell, 40, of South Avenue, was charged with assault of public safety personnel, a felony offense.
At about 5:38 p.m. on June 6 (a Saturday), officers transported Noell to NCPD headquarters after she was found to be the aggressor in a domestic dispute, according to a police affidavit that forms the major part of an arrest warrant application signed Aug. 7 by a state Superior Court judge.
There, “Noell was uncooperative” and made several hateful comments toward an officer, such as “You’re going straight to hell [expletive], you’re going to burn there just like your ancestors” and making references to a “dead baby,” “abortions,” “illegitimate children” and “dead [expletive] husbands,” according to the application, obtained by NewCanaanite.com.
Authorities determined that Noell should go to a hospital, and at about 7:21 p.m. New Canaan Emergency Medical Services was dispatched. While in her holding cell, she “continuously repeated that she was not going to the hospital, demanded to be released as she paid her bond, asked us to open the door and let her out, and kicked the cell door,” the police affidavit said.
As officers removed Noell from the holding cell, she “resisted and tried to pull away from us,” it said, adding that after NCPD Lt. Aaron LaTourette and the targeted officer “got control of Noell’s arms to handcuff her, at approximately 1951 hours, Noell spit in my face, I felt it on my cheek and near my lip.”
“Noell attempted to spit into my face again, and Lt. LaTourette stabilized her head so she could not turn her head to do so,” it continued. “At approximately 2003 hrs, while in the ambulance Noell stated, ‘I have Hepatitis C, HIV, Herpes, [the officer] now has all those diseases too.’ ”
She turned herself in on the active warrant at about 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 21, police said.
Noell was arrested multiple times in New Canaan this summer. She was arrested in May and charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault, and then twice in June, charged with disorderly conduct (twice), third-degree assault, violation of a protective order (twice) and first-degree criminal trespass, according to Connecticut Judicial Branch records. She’s out on bond and scheduled to appear Sept. 15, the court records show. Noell is represented by lawyer Robert Anthony Famiglietti of Stamford, records show.
