Join S.T.A.R. (Stand Together Against Racism), The Glass House, and Carriage Barn Arts Center for the opening reception of the 5th Annual Fairfield County Student Social Justice Art Showcase.

Step into the Carriage Barn for the first look at original artwork, architecture, and design by Fairfield County students. This year’s theme, “Seen & Heard,” invites young artists to share a moment when their identity was noticed, overlooked, celebrated, or challenged, and how it felt. Meet the student artists, hear the stories behind their work, and connect with families, educators, and community members. Local music students Nina Ghahremani and Noelle Suzuki will provide live entertainment throughout the afternoon.

The reception is open to the whole community. Come to celebrate the students, listen to their perspectives, and join the conversation about identity, belonging, and justice.
