The New Canaan Building Department on Oct. 25 received an application for a 3,214-square-foot home on Smith Ridge Road.
The new four-bedroom house at 624 Smith Ridge Road will include three full bathrooms, one half-bath, a two-car garage and unfinished basement and attic, according to the application.
It will cost $1,190,000 to build, the application said.
The contractor on the job is Bethel-based Westchester Modular Homes of Fairfield County CT LLC, the architect Westchester Modular Homes of Wingdale, N.Y.
The 5.01-acre property belongs to the Country Club of New Canaan, tax records show. The club purchased it for $1,350,000 in 2021, the records show.
