This week on 0684-Radi0, our free podcast (subscribe here in the iTunes Store), we talk to Nancy Coughlin, CEO of Person to Person or “P2P,” a nonprofit organization known to many New Canaanites that supports families and individuals as they move toward stability with healthy food, clothing, housing assistance and a path to economic opportunity. Demand for meals from the donor-supported organization, which recently launched its second mobile food pantry, has grown by 2.5 times since the onset of the pandemic.

  1. I live in New Canaan and have contributed to and volunteered at Person to Person for many years. I pack food and it allows me to talk with clients. We often don’t have opportunities to directly learn from our neighbors. We can change lives through this critical regional resource. Please join us!

    • I also live in New Canaan and have financially supported P2P for many years. I started volunteering weekly at P2P almost two years ago and enjoy helping the clients and working with a good group of volunteers.

Volunteering opportunities include packing food or sorting donated clothing. Note there is a link to the P2P website in the article to find out more about the organization.
