This online informative session is designed to help you determine if the seven-week Life Worth Living course coming to Grace Farms this fall is right for you. Katie Grosh, Faith Initiative Coordinator, will provide information about the course and answer your questions. Life Worth Living is a seven-week academic course led by Matthew Croasmun, Faith Initiative Director here at Grace Farms and Director of the Life Worth Living Program at Yale Center for Faith and Culture. During this course, participants are invited to embark on an honest reflection about their lives and connect with others interested in exploring questions of meaning and purpose. Each week features select short readings from a variety of religious and philosophical traditions, both ancient and modern, along with video lectures and the chance to participate in group discussions.

Books on Faith & Meaning | 100 Poems with Christian Wiman

Poet and editor Christian Wiman will discuss his most recent collection of evocative poems and prose fragments about home, and home’s deep theological, literary, philosophical, historical, political and social dimensions. Apple Orchard | Gardener to Chef

Tour our community orchard with Master Gardener Lauren Elliott and learn about apple varietals and how to care for orchards. Afterwards, join Pastry Chef Leah Jones for a mini-class on the anatomy of an apple and how the entire fruit is used to create apple butter. Share in this tasting experience with a take-home recipe.
