Two motorists face $460 fines for passing stopped school buses last week, police said.
Both captured by surveillance videos (the buses have cameras installed, in part for this purpose), the incidents occurred in the afternoon of May 20 on Jelliff Mill Road at Shady Knoll Lane, and at 9:56 a.m. on May 22 (Thursday) at Lapham and Talmadge Hill Roads, according to police.
The fined drivers are a 38-year-old Norwalk man (Jelliff Mill) and 43-year-old Darien man (Lapham), police said.
Police are investigating a third incident on Jelliff Mill Road from May 22.
