Concert by Houston Pianist at First Presbyterian Church this Sunday
On Sunday, November 23 at 11:30 AM, the Grand Prize Winner of the 2011 Brevard Music Festival Concerto Competition, pianist Joseph Stern Kingma, returns to First Presbyterian Church of New Canaan to perform a “Coffee Concert” of virtuoso music for piano by Frederick Chopin and W.A. Mozart. All proceeds will benefit the Outreach Ministries of First Presbyterian Church. Mr. Kingma has been praised for his “dazzling technique” and “uniquely personal” approach to music in concert appearances throughout the United States.…

Goodwill Collection at the First Presbyterian Church
Fall Cleaning? Goodwill Collection at FPC this Saturday. On Nov 12th, from 9am-1pm, FPCNC will sponsor a donation drive for Goodwill Industries of Western Connecticut. Donations of clothing, furniture and household items in good condition are sought and receipts for tax purposes will be available. Goodwill Industries provides vocational services for people with disabilities and special needs. over 60 percent of its operating revenue comes form the sale of donated goods in its retail stores. The next collection date will be Sat, Dec 10th.
