A 55-year-old New Canaan man is one of two motorists cited for passing a stopped school bus on Route 123, police say.
At about 7:37 a.m. on Feb. 10, two cars passed through the stop sign extended from the side of a bus traveling north on Route 123 in the area of Hill Street, according to a police report.
A 62-year-old South Salem, NY man was driving the second vehicle, police said.
The bus driver reported the violation, after reviewing video (there are cameras on school buses for this purpose), police saw the license plates on both vehicles and each motorist was fined $465, police said.
