The New Canaan Museum & Historical Society is excited to announce its new monthly program, Lunch and Learn! This program is free for members ($10 for everyone else) and gives visitors the opportunity to spend an hour to learn something new each month about New Canaan’s rich history. Bring your own brown bag lunch and enjoy hearing from local historians, artists, and scholars.

The first program features retired Associate Vice-President of Academic Affairs at Fairfield University, Mary Frances Malone, who spent several years exploring the archives at the Museum and was instrumental in the John Rogers exhibition now on view in the artist’s landmark studio. She will give an overview of his life and work, and provide details about his process, influences, successes and failures. Included in the program is a tour of the newly reopened studio.
