Police last week cited a 25-year-old Millport Avenue man on a minor drug charge during a traffic stop.
At about 12:11 a.m. on Oct. 24, an officer on patrol spotted a vehicle traveling northbound on South Avenue with its rear marker plate not illuminated, according to a police report.
During a subsequent stop, the officer smelled marijuana emitting from the vehicle, the report said.
The driver was issued an infraction summonses for possession of less than .5 ounces of marijuana.
