Police late Tuesday arrested a 62-year-old Norwalk woman and charged her with driving under the influence.
At about 10:27 p.m. on May 18, an officer on patrol saw an occupied car off the shoulder of Lapham Road, according to a police report.
In speaking to the driver, the officer detected signs of impairment, the report said.
After administering field sobriety tests, police brought her to headquarters to bring the misdemeanor charge, it said. She refused to provide a sample to establish her blood-alcohol level, police said.
The woman was released on $250 bond and scheduled to appear June 18 in state Superior Court.
