Police on Saturday night arrested a 58-year-old Westport woman and charged her with driving under the influence.
At about 7:28 p.m. on March 24, an officer on patrol clocked a vehicle traveling north on Route 123 at 69 mph in a 45 mph zone, according to a police report.
During a subsequent stop at East and Millport Avenues, the officer smelled alcohol on the driver’s breath, the report said.
She then failed field sobriety tests, it said.
The woman refused to undergo a test to determine her blood-alcohol content level, the report said.
Police additionally cited her for speeding.
She was released on $260 bond and scheduled to appear April 6 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
