Connecticut's Legislative Session begins on Wednesday, February 4th. Our local legislators will share their priorities for the current legislative session in Hartford, hear your concerns, and answer questions regarding the issues facing our state.

Spend an invigorating afternoon at our second World Music Series program, with master drummer John Dankwa (Assistant Professor of Music at Wesleyan University), and dancer/choreographer Iddi Saaka (Douglas J. and Midge Bowen Bennet Associate Professor of Dance at Wesleyan), together with their student performers. We will learn about and experience powerful rhythms, dynamic movement, and the communal energy of West African performance traditions. All ages are welcome!

Paul Starr is professor of sociology and public affairs at Princeton University and founding coeditor of the American Prospect magazine. He received the Pulitzer Prize for Nonfiction and Bancroft Prize in American History for The Social Transformation of American Medicine. Over a half-century he has written essays and op‑eds for newspapers and magazines as well as books on America’s institutions, history, and politics.
