Arrests: Domestic Violence, Pot Citation

Police arrested a 73-year-old North Wilton Road man Sunday evening after he pushed someone in the parking lot at East School during a dispute.

The incident occurred at about 7:38 p.m. and the victim suffered an abrasion, according to a police report.

He was charged with disorderly conduct and promised to appear Monday in state Superior Court in Norwalk.

Police cited a 17-year-old for minor drug offenses Friday evening after finding a small amount of pot and smoking gear in the car he was driving.

At about 6:58 p.m., police received a report of a vehicle parked suspiciously near the end of a driveway on Putnam Road, according to a police report.

Arriving officers approached the vehicle, and found the teenage driver and four juvenile passengers within, the report said. The officer smelled burnt marijuana, asked the driver about it and was handed a baggie containing less than .5 ounces of pot and smoking pipes with marijuana residue, the report said.

Police referred his case to the Juvenile Matters Division of state Superior Court in Bridgeport.
